Albany Competes in the School Table Tennis Finals

Four of Albany students’ represented Chorley in the School Table Tennis Finals this week. Charlotte Davenport, Milly Lever, Ellena Draper and Beam Tammaraksa attended the finals at Garstang High School.

Graham Coupe, from the Garstang Table Tennis Club, organised the competition with a number of schools in the Lancashire area. Beth Milburn, Girls’ PE teacher at Albany Academy, said “I would like to congratulate the girls in representing Chorley in the School Table Tennis Finals at Garstang today, where the girls became bronze medallists. It was a fantastic achievement, and I would also like to thank Miss Greenhalgh for taking the girls to the tournament and giving up her time after school.”
