Please find here our latest Ofsted report. We are delighted that, despite the significant ‘raising of the bar’ by Ofsted recently, and a much more rigorous inspection framework, we have been judged to be a good school with outstanding pupil behaviour and safety and outstanding leadership and management. This is a testament to the changes that have taken place at Albany over recent years and the very high standards that we expect of ourselves and our pupils.
The inspectors were very complimentary about the school overall and were particularly impressed by the pupils’ behavior and conduct. As you can see from the report they describe the pupils as “…an absolute credit to the academy and the community” and say “students in the academy are delightful” and “students are very happy in the academy”. We have always said that our pupils are our greatest asset and it is great to have this confirmed by Ofsted.
None of this would be possible without the tireless effort of every member of staff at the school and the support of our parents and carers, this report is one of which we should all be proud.
